Walgreens has lost the majority of its market share in recent years due to a number of factors. The company was forced by the FDA to stop selling its anti-obesity drug Xenical, which was already under patent. Wal-Mart and Target announced that they will be limiting their retail sales of the obesity drug Xenical to two percent, making it the world's largest retailer.
